Why is Dragonpay shutting down its DP Wallet App

Dragonpay has decided to discontinue the DP Wallet App its e-wallet service as it will soon release an updated app by Q4 2025 – DP Credits.

When will the shutdown take effect?

The Dragonpay e-wallet will officially be discontinued on September 30 2025. After this date, you will no longer be able to load, transfer, or use your wallet balance for transactions.

What will happen to my remaining balance?

Users can check their remaining balances by logging into the Dragonpay Wallet app, then completing the form above to initiate the refund process.

All refund requests will be processed within 3 business days and will be credited to your preferred account, either your e-wallet or your appointed bank account.

How can I withdraw my funds?

You can withdraw your remaining balance by:

  • Completing the form above to initiate the refund process
  • Nominate your designated bank account or e-wallet 
Will there be any fees for withdrawing my balance?

No. Withdrawals related to the e-wallet shutdown will be processed free of charge until the 2 years past the shutdown date.

What if I don’t withdraw before the shutdown date?

Balances left unclaimed after September 30, 2025 will not be accessible through the e-wallet app. You will need to file a manual refund request with our support team, as stated above.

Can I still use Dragonpay for other payments?

Yes! Only the DP Wallet app is being discontinued. Dragonpay’s payment gateway and other services will remain available for bills payment, online shopping, and partner transactions.

How will I know if my refund/withdrawal is successful?
